Q:
What do you do,
Charlie Hoyt?
A:
Mainly I work with
sound. Making noise is my job and my passion. I have taken on roles
including Sound Designer, Composer, Mixer, and Recording Engineer, among others. I
like to call myself an Aural
Interaction Designer because I specialize in working with audio
for interactive media like video games. Currently I work full time as a Sound Designer/Engineer for a video game development studio. I'm still often available for freelance and I'd love to hear about your project. Read on!
Q:
Where can I hear some
of your stuff?
A:
Sorry! At the moment my portfolio and reel are currently unavailable online. Please get in touch and I will be glad to get you samples of my work that are relevant to your needs!

Q:
What are Shufflesition and Humatar?
A:
Good question. Those
are large-scale physical space games
I designed. Have a look at the
descriptions for Shufflesition and Humatar.
Q:
So wait, you're a
game designer too?
A:
Yes! I love to think
of new ways for people to hear
and interact with audio. And guess what?
I've also started to do work on video
game design. I've got my own
project and I'm dabbling in design for a team project. Look for more on
that soon...

Are you available to
do audio work for my project?
